SEAN DOGAN
Pastor
Reverend Richard Sean Dwayne Dogan has provided pastoral leadership to Long Branch Baptist Church for over 20 years. He is a 1998 graduate of Clemson University and attended Shaw School of Divinity. Pastor Dogan is also a graduate of The Riley Institute Diversity Leadership Initiative. He is married to Satreva Dogan. They have 3 daughters; Ramiah, Nishea and Terri.
Pastor Dogan has initiated feeding programs and has worked diligently to bring the message of wellness to the community. He has also led the church in supporting youth employment through community gardening.
Pastor Sean Dogan serves or has served on the following Boards: GHS Board of Trustees, United Way Board of Trustees, SHARE Board of Directors, Greenville Forward Board of Directors, LiveWell Greenville Leadership Team, Senior Action Board of Trustees, Generations Group Board of Directors, Pendleton Place for Children and Families Board of Directors, Public Education Partners Board of Directors, Civitan, UNCF Upstate and N.A.A.C.P.
He is listed as one of the best and brightest under 35 by Greenville Business Magazine.
SATREVA DOGAN
First Lady
Satreva Young Dogan is the First Lady of Long Branch Church where she serves faithfully; providing leadership, love and loyalty. She is a registered nurse and diligently serves communities throughout Greenville, SC. Her community efforts include starting and coordinating a weekly food bank, a senior feeding program that provides monthly boxes of food to seniors. First Lady Dogan has also established outreach programs that assist families needing a “gift of kindness”, such as diapers, toiletries, dishes, or blankets. She is a mentor to countless young girls and devotes time to personally guide them with advice and/or prayer.
Satreva serves on the Board of Trustees for the Children’s Museum of the Upstate and on the Parents Panel of Christ Church Episcopal School. She is currently the ninth-grade parent representative and is the mother of a beautiful daughter, Ramiah, who is a joy in her life.
Her favorite verse and goal in life is I Thessalonians 4: 11-12, “That you aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your hands, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.”
MARIE MURPHY
Accounting Manager
Marie Murphy is the Accounting Manager. She is responsible for the accounting of all church finances and overseeing budget management. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Furman University and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Clemson University. Marie has served in several operations/management leadership roles during her career.
She is married to Rev. Dr. Larry Murphy, Pastor of Mt. Rowell Baptist Church in Union, SC. They are the proud parents of two children, Jennifer and Evan; and two precious grandchildren, Justin and Laci.
DONOVAN PARKS
Director of Youth and Media Services
Donovan Parks is the Director of Youth and Media Services. He has been serving youth of all ages in the Music and Media ministries for over 10 years.
Donovan holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from North Greenville University. His passion for working with youth and children has enabled him to gain a wealth of knowledge in helping and teaching students, and serving as a camp director. As the need for Media and Technology grows in the church community, Donovan’s interest, talents, and expertise in these fields continue to grow.
When not working, Donovan enjoys spending time with family, eating great food, watching sports, exercising, and traveling. He lives in Greer with his wife, son Gavin and daughter Ansley Kae
WILLIAM BURGESS
Creative Arts Director
TONY MANSELL
Facility Manager
William Burgess is the Creative Arts Director and oversees all the Creative Arts programs. He has been serving music ministries for over 30 years and has deep roots at Long Branch, having been baptized here at the age of 6.
He has an undergraduate degree from Anderson University, and a graduate degree from Erskine Theological Seminary. In his spare time, William enjoys family time, DIY projects around the house, building custom bass guitars, and music and literary composition.
William is married to his high school sweetheart, Bridget. They have three very bright daughters; Leah, Aria, and Ava-Euree.
Tony Mansell is the Facilities Manager. He is responsible for the maintenance of our church building and grounds. This includes some general maintenance, oversight of all building equipment, and supervision of maintenance and custodial staff.
His favorite scripture is Psalm 27:1, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?"

DEACON ROBERT SULLIVAN
Custodial Staff
Deacon Robert Sullivan is one of our church custodians. He is responsible for maintaining church facilities which includes keeping the church clean and orderly daily and during various church activities/events.
His favorite scripture is John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Anthony Durham is one of our church custodians. He is responsible for maintaining our church facilities which includes keeping the church clean and orderly daily and during various church activities/events.
His favorite scripture is Psalm 23:1, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.”
